Beginning your real estate career takes you down an exciting new path of entrepreneurial life. A path filled with new information, new challenges, and new rewards. Before beginning your journey, understand the requirements and how Stark Company Realtors can help guide you along the way.

Step One: Pre-License Training

The State of Wisconsin requires all real estate agents to have a minimum of 72 hours of certified education. When you work with Stark Company Realtors to begin your pre-license training, we provide reduced rates on the two training options offered by the Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA).

1. Option One: On-Demand Course - Entirely online, this course includes printable reading materials, a video presentation, and mock quizzes. You have six months from the date you purchase this course to complete it and earn your certificate.
2. Option Two: Blended Training - This education format combines the best of both worlds: instructor-led sessions with online education. This course includes eight live-streamed training sessions via Zoom, as well as online course activities in a flexible and interactive atmosphere.

Step Two: Licensing Exam

The State of Wisconsin requires all real estate agents to pass an exam before obtaining their license through the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).

• Licensing Exam - A third party—Pearson | VUE—administers the exam weekly (for a fee) at several locations throughout the state. You will have four hours to complete the 140 multiple-choice questions and need 75 points to pass. You may retake the exam (for a fee) as often as needed until you pass.
• Real Estate License - After passing your exam, you need to register for your license through the DSPS and pay your biennial fee.

Step Three: Starting at Stark
